Are you living on purpose? It's all about tapping into your story and letting it guide you towards a fulfilling life.
Â
First off, we need to own our story. Every twist, turn, and detour has led you to where you are today. Embrace it all—the good, the bad, and the messy. That's what makes you, well, you!
Â
I remember how challenging this was for me. My story didn’t turn out as I had planned. My Cinderella fairytale turned into a B-rated movie that no one would want to watch, or so I thought. Little did I know that everyone has unexpected twists and turns on their journey. My expectations of a smooth and pretty life was unrealistic at best.
Â
My story needed to be told. Your story needs to be heard.
Â
I can remember the first time I shared my story before a group of women, the part of my story that was shrouded with shame and the paragraphs of my story that mortified me and kept my soul paralyzed. I was being interviewed on a retreat and for some reason, I felt safe enough to let it all out. When I shared the section of my story of being unexpectedly widowed in my mid-50s, I was 16 months out from my late husband’s death by suicide.
Â
Sharing my story was a crucial moment. Everything began to change. Clarity crept in ever so slowly. Maybe I could find meaning in it all.
Â
Your story has power, just like mine. It's a beacon of light in a world that sometimes feels dark and uncertain. So, embrace it, share it, and watch as it transforms not only your own life but the lives of those around you. Your journey is worth celebrating, and I'm here to cheer you on every step of the way. Let's keep writing our stories together. 🌟
