A good coach will encourage you to be vulnerable. A good coachee will not cave to discomfort as they expect to be uncomfortable at times.
No pain no gain.
As a listening partner, it’s not my job to look good. It's my responsibility to serve you, not make you comfortable.
A little pain never hurt anyone. But, shying away from doing your inner work of self-reflection to identify your limited beliefs and blink spots will guarantee no growth this year.
If you are ready for momentum this year of growing day by day, quarter by quarter, and season by season, find a listening partner such as a coach, spiritual director, trusted advisor, or mentor to accompany you.
No one grows alone. The slow work of God can't be rushed, but it will require your cooperation.
